April Topic - When life is on a constant loop: Breaking free from your version of Groundhogs Day

We've all had those moments when life seems to play on a loop. The same routine, day in and day out can leave us feeling stuck and wondering how we got here. Trust me, I’ve been there.

What’s at the root of it?

  • Repetitive nature of your current life

  • The joy, fun, and excitement is missing

  • Not aligned with old values, ideas, behaviors, habits

  • You are exhausted, burnt out

  • When you don’t want to work anymore

  • You haven’t changed your environment

Spring equals a new door, its the perfect time to make changes as nature blooms and morphs into something new, you can too!

Things to remember:

  • You deserve a new start (you can still be a ballerina at 42, or whatever dream you haven’t accomplished yet).

  • This too shall pass

  • Give yourself grace

Action Step:

Add more creativity, play, and joy in how and where you show up. What does this look like for you? What brings you joy right now that you can add a little to each day?

I used to take the subway to my job, but decided “I can walk a few blocks, listen to music/podcasts, and enjoy the spring weather”. It was a simple change and a game-changer! Not only did I change my environment, I would stumble across little glimmers of joy like farmers markets/fairs I didn’t know about, run into old friends, was able to sneak in some unexpected exercise, and enjoy the energy of the city in spring!

Share below how you are going to take action and rewrite your script. You don’t have to be Bill Murray in Groundhog's Day!

With love and wellness, Crystal Garcia
